Guantanamera

Launched in 2002 by Habanos, Guantanamera cigars are the ideal choice for newcomers to Cuban smokes as they come with pre-cut heads and have mild bodies while offering very typical Cuban flavors. The cigars are all machine-made by ICT (under license to Habanos S.A.) using short filler from tobacco grown in the Vuelta Arriba region (located in the middle of Cuba), whereas most Habanos long fillers are using tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo which is located in the Pinar del Rio region. Named after the very popular song “Guajira Guantanamera”, which is probably the most popular export from Cuba after their famous Habanos, they are some of the most affordable Cuban cigars but they are very comparable to their more expensive brothers.
